| Welcome to my site. On these pages you will find some details of my research into my Family History. These pages will be of particular interest if your surname is Harrison, Maddrell, Shimmin, or Joyce. I live on the Isle of Man, an Island about 30 miles long by 12 miles wide which is in the Irish Sea, about midway between England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. The Island is famous for its tailless cats, 3 legs symbol (pictured on the Manx flag opposite), and the famous "TT" motorcycle races when the Island's population is swollen with 50,000 visitors from all parts of the world. |
